Current Classification
In the industrial sector, the current ratings for plugs and sockets are typically categorized into series such as 16A, 32A, 63A, and 125A to accommodate varying power requirements. These specifications ensure the safety and stability of the connectors across a wide spectrum of industrial applications.

 

Voltage Classification
Voltage is similarly subject to clear classification within industrial applications, primarily encompassing series such as 110V, 220V, and 380V. These regulations are designed to guarantee the safe and stable operation of power systems.

 

Core Count Classification
In industrial settings, the number of cores within plugs and sockets is subject to specific regulations regarding their applicable voltage ranges. Typically, standard 3-core industrial plugs and sockets are designed for a voltage range of 220V to 250V and feature a blue housing. Conversely, 4-core and 5-core industrial plugs and sockets are engineered to operate at voltages ranging from 380V to 415V and feature a red housing. This classification system is intended to ensure both the safety and suitability of the connectors.

 

Waterproof Rating Classification
To withstand diverse environmental conditions, industrial connectors are typically assigned varying waterproof ratings. Generally, IP44-rated connectors can handle a maximum current of 63A, whereas IP67-rated connectors are capable of handling currents of up to 125A. This design enables the connectors to function stably in a wide array of complex environments, thereby ensuring the overall reliability of the power system.
